I started QED Software while stationed at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During my six years at the Academy (1985 thru 1991), I taught courses in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math, and English. The term "Q.E.D." comes from the Latin phrase, "quod erat demonstrandum", which means that something has been demonstrated or proven. Since my interests are in software development and providing solutions using software, QED Software seemed like the perfect company name. Background and Experience: I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering; 20+ years of military service; over 15 years software engineering experience - most in R&D environments and a love for computers, software, the Internet, and problem solving. My wife and partner of 20 years has a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Science degree in Human Resource Development - she's the Editor (my editor too).
